Senior Biology & Junior Science Teacher

Commencing Term 1, 2026

An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and committed Science educator to join a leading independent Anglican school in Sydney's North West. The role involves teaching Senior Biology (Stage 6) and Junior Science (Years 7-10) in a supportive, well-resourced environment.

About the Role

Full-time, permanent position commencing Term 1, 2026

Teach Stage 6 Biology and contribute to Junior Science programs

Collaborate with a dedicated and professional Science faculty

Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and innovative teaching practices

Engage with students pastorally, supporting their growth both inside and outside the classroom

About You

  • Relevant Education qualifications in Science with a major in Biology
  • Accreditation with NESA and current Working With Children Check
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire students and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons (2+ years experience teaching in a similar role is desirable)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to the values of an Anglican independent school and willingness to support the wider life of the College
  • Full Working Rights / Permanent Residency or Citizenship for Australia
