Our retail business is a key growth engine, and we are now looking for a talented, commercially sharp National Account Executive to support and future-proof our ANZ retail performance.
About the RoleAs a key member of the ANZ retail sales team, you will report to the Director of Retail Sales and Commercial Growth to grow revenue, margins, and market share across key retail accounts.
This role is not just about day-to-day account management—it's designed for someone ready to step up over time into more senior responsibilities. You'll manage relationships, drive commercial analysis, support scan backs/returns, and work closely with the Supply Chain and Logistics team to embed best practice processes (CIN7 experience highly desirable).
Your ability to translate insights into action, influence stakeholders, and anticipate opportunities will make you a critical part of Spacetalk's retail growth story.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccount & Relationship Management
- Own and manage key retail accounts across ANZ, building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, finance, product, logistics) to deliver seamless execution of business plans.
- Support joint business planning and category reviews with retail partners.
- Support and run product training sessions with retail partners.
Commercial & Data Analysis
- Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Drive product lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and promotional effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of distribution, pricing, and ranging across channels.
- Leverage data to influence strategy and decision-making.
Forecasting & Planning
- Drive and support demand planning and sales forecasting processes.
- Ensure accurate, timely promotional planning, inventory optimisation, and pricing strategies.
- Contribute to the development and execution of channel strategies and promotional calendars.
Execution & Reporting
- Ensure timely execution of promotional plans, claims processing, and shopfront initiatives.
- Prepare and present business insights and performance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update sales databases and tools for accurate reporting and analysis.
Business Performance & Innovation
- Contribute to the achievement of volume, revenue, and margin targets through insightful reporting, commercial support, and proactive administration.
- Identify process improvements and support technology-driven enhancements across account management and reporting.
- 3–5+ years' experience in account management or commercial roles within retail, consumer electronics, telecommunications, distribution, or FMCG.
- Experience with scan backs, returns, and working closely with retail supply chain teams (CIN7 experience highly desirable).
- Strong commercial acumen with proven analytical and negotiation skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
