We are partnering with a national business seeking a commercially minded and strategic finance leader. This role is ideal for a finance professional with proven experience leading end-to-end financial management while driving growth, transformation, and operational performance.

As Head of Finance, you will play a key role in shaping the financial and commercial direction of the division. You'll oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls — while also contributing meaningfully to strategic decision-making, business planning, and commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the division's financial strategy, planning, and reporting functions
  • Represent the division at board-level forums alongside senior executives
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis
  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly financials and insights to enable strategic decision-making
  • Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities, improve margin, and support key business cases
  • Oversee compliance, tax, audit and risk, ensuring robust financial governance
  • Support transformation projects including platform integration and process automation
  • Mentor, develop, and lead a finance team through continuous improvement and capability-building

About You
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • 5+ years' experience in a senior finance leadership role
  • Proven experience leading finance in a multi-entity, commercial environment
  • Strong commercial acumen – confident advising on strategy, pricing, and investment
  • Adept at navigating complexity, managing stakeholders, and influencing at executive and board levels
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, development-focused management style
