We are a busy Specialist Women's Health Clinic with multiple specialists located in St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba. Our focus is to provide the best possible specialist care in women's health in a relaxed and caring environment.

We are seeking an experienced and confident Medical Receptionist to join our team, working 2-3 days per week. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling appointments, greeting patients, assisting Practitioners with their daily needs, liaising with Medicare, Hospitals, and Health Funds, invoicing, receipting payments, banking, and backfilling for team members when required. This role offers the opportunity to manage a variety of daily tasks.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience as a medical receptionist in a multiple doctor practice, preferably with specialist experience
  • Confidence, teamwork, maturity, and a friendly outlook
  • Strong communication skills and rapport-building abilities
  • Fast medical typing speed (at least 45 wpm)
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn our Medical Software platform
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Emotional maturity and empathy for patients
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment

If successful, you will join the reception team working on a shift roster covering hours from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We offer a uniform, attractive remuneration, flexibility, and a professional, friendly work culture in this permanent part-time role.
