Magna Restorations Pty Ltd is a residential and commercial restoration company specialising in insurance restoration services across multiple states. Our team is involved in structural and contents restoration services in conjunction with building reinstatement works for damages caused by events such as flood, fire, water, mould and catastrophic storm damage.
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and self-motivated full time Senior Restoration Technician to lead our restoration team in Adelaide. If you have a passion for the restoration industry, extensive experience and are looking for an exciting new challenge, then please read on.
Responsibilities
Perform emergency "make safe" works to mitigate further damage on initial attendance at site where required
Prepare detailed and accurate reports, scope of works and quotations.
Responding to water and mould damage emergencies to both commercial and residential sectors
Carrying out mould remediation, structural drying and fire restoration services in conjunction with building reinstatement repairs.
Liaise with the insurer, insured's and contractors, maintaining a high level of communication
Develop a strong rapport with all stakeholders
Manual handling and usage of specialised restoration equipment
Maintaining a high level of Health and Safety, ensuring all industry standards are met
Will be required to assist in regional and interstate works during catastrophic events
Respond to after hours and weekend work
The role is subject to a National Police Check
Skills and experience
Demonstrated knowledge with a minimum of 3 years restoration experience
IICRC accreditations
Proven leadership skills and strong work ethic
Background in structural and contents restoration, carpet cleaning as well but not essential
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure
Must have a current and valid driver's licence
