About The Opportunity
Piacentini & Son are seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor, with a passion for enhancing a safe and healthy work environment. This role will be based at our new Atlas Midwest Mineral Sands Project. This role will work closely with site management, whilst being strongly supported by our Bunbury based Learning & Development team. Based 180km north of Perth, this is a fantastic Drive In / Drive Out position, that can offer ongoing works.
About The Role
- Ensure employees are trained, assessed and compliant in accordance with site Training Needs Analysis and Training Management Plan
- Ensuring all personnel have access to training and inductions when required to meet legal and site competency requirements
- Ensure all training documentation is accurately completed and entered
- Manage assessment, reassessment and refresher training across site
- Demonstrated experience as a Trainer & Assessor in a similar role
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or above
- Proven experience operating as an all-rounder in an open cut environment including production Loader, Dozer & Excavator
- Additional HRWLs are highly regarded
- The ability to mentor and train others with respect and clarity
- Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of employees
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Ability to obtain a valid National Police Clearance
- You must have working rights in Australia
- Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen
- 7:7 Days Only Roster- 12 Hour Shifts
