ERP / HCM Functional Consultant – Be the Oracle Expert Driving Change
Utilities industry | Oracle ERP / HCM | Implementation & Migration Project
We're partnering with a leading organisation in the utilities sector that's undergoing a significant transformation across their core business systems. They're now seeking an experienced Functional Consultant with deep hands-on experience in Oracle ERP / HCM implementations and migrations.
This isn't a role for someone who just advises from the sidelines - this is for a doer. Someone who can roll up their sleeves, drive delivery, and own the detail as much as the strategy.
What will you be doing?
You'll be a key player in a major transformation program, acting as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery. Your role will see you working across the full project lifecycle - from migration strategy and design to configuration, delivery and testing - providing subject matter expertise and hands-on support every step of the way.
You'll engage closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the Oracle platform is implemented with both precision and purpose. You'll help shape the solution, validate requirements, guide test planning, and ensure the migration is aligned with business needs and future state vision.

You'll bring
Extensive experience in functional consulting for Oracle ERP and / or HCM platformsProven involvement in at least one end-to-end implementation or major migration projectExperience working with vendors and technical teams to define and execute migration strategiesHands-on experience with system design, configuration, and data migration activitiesDeep understanding of business processes and system requirements across HR and Finance domainsA confident and consultative communication style – able to engage, influence and guide stakeholdersExposure to or involvement in test planning and defect resolution during delivery phasesThis is a great contract role for someone who knows Oracle inside out and loves seeing their work translate into tangible business outcomes.
