Brisbane, Queensland, Australia black Full time

Thanks for stopping by and learning more about this role at Sitemate

We'd love to hear from you.

Brief overview of this role at Sitemate:

We are looking for our first Field Marketing Manager, a new role at Sitemate. While we've seen fantastic results from our inbound funnel, we recognize the value of building trust and generating leads through events and strategic partnerships.

This role would suit someone with experience in SaaS marketing, trade shows, and industry events who knows how to identify and leverage opportunities to engage potential customers. You'll be responsible for creating and executing campaigns tailored to specific events and associations, ensuring our presence is impactful and resonates with the audience.

You'll have the opportunity to take the lead in managing trade shows, conferences, and association partnerships, crafting verticalized content, and developing targeted strategies that go beyond generic banners. Your work will result in tangible outcomes, building trust with prospects and creating a steady flow of leads and opportunities.

Sitemate is headquartered in Sydney, and we have strong word-of-mouth and a well-known brand in Australia overall, with many projects/sites/companies having used our software/apps before, so the flywheel is already spinning and we want to take advantage of that by getting out to in-person events and meeting our prospects where they are.

This is an exciting chance to join our growing team, work closely with GTM leadership, and contribute to shaping a key function at Sitemate. Over the next few years, this role will provide ample opportunities for growth and career development in a fast-scaling SaaS environment.

Employment Type:

  • Full-time
  • Based in Sydney, Australia
  • OTE Remuneration (incl. Super): $120,000 - $160,000 AUD
  • Base Salary (incl. Super): $84,000 - $112,000 AUD
  • Commission (incl. Super): $36,000 - $48,000 AUD (uncapped)

What will I be doing day to day in this role?

  • Acts as a "good cop" to build trust in our targeted industries, without immediate sales pressure
  • Develops Sitemate's brand awareness via a human touch
  • Event sourcing and booking (trade shows / conferences), maintained via Confluence register
  • Affiliation / association sourcing and booking, maintained via Confluence register
  • Specific webinar sessions; on new legislations, how to respond, processes required to have in place, etc.
  • Regional event calendar building and maintenance
  • Event execution; sourcing marketing collateral, logistics, demonstration content, lead capture content

What will be the biggest challenges for me in this role?

  • Learning about the built world if you haven't had any exposure to it - there are a lot of different types of companies and plenty of new terminologies to learn.
  • Understanding SaaS financial acronyms and common terminology - if you have not worked in a SaaS company before, there are going to be a lot of metrics to learn.
  • Learning how to use Salesforce.
  • You'll be reporting to the Director of Go-to-Market, and working directly with Sitemate's CEO, Revenue Operations, and founding team. We move very quickly, so you'll need to be excited to come in and learn extremely fast.

PLEASE Note:

  • If you go on our website and enter your email, you will become a lead in our CRM. To avoid this, you can watch videos directly here: http://www.sitemate.com/videos
  • We do not use recruitment partners or services, so please save your time and don't reach out.
