Our state-of-the-art meat processing facility is in need of a full-time, fully qualified, and experienced butcher to join the production team working the afternoon shifts (between 10:00 am - 7:00 pm).

Working closely with the Section Supervisors, the successful applicant will be responsible for preparing meat products (mainly beef, lamb, poultry, and pork) by cutting and trimming to fulfill orders for our Drakes Supermarkets stores.

As a key member of the Fresh Food team, you will be :

  • A qualified and experienced butcher with high standards of personal hygiene
  • Experienced in cutting high volumes of meat
  • Passionate about producing high-quality cuts of meat for sale in our supermarket stores
  • Reliable, friendly, and motivated
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Committed to maintaining work health and safety standards
