Chef - Mandurah and surrounds

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team at Port Bouvard in Mandurah, Bedingfield Park in Pinjarra and surrounding locations. This is casual role. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-quality kitchen environments such as luxury hotels or high-end restaurants. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving food in accordance with menus, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation at all times.

• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to menus, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen in their absence.
• Maintain HACCP procedures and practices.
• Keep kitchen equipment and plant in good condition.
• Organize and implement food service.
• Plan and implement daily food preparation lists for effective production.
• Comply with all aspects of OH&S compliance.
• Assist in the induction of all staff.
• Attend team meetings as per meeting roster.
• Work in accordance with our Code of Conduct.
• Ensure safe and sound work practices that comply with Work, Health, and Safety policies and procedures and relevant legislation.

• Experience working in high-quality kitchen environments such as luxury hotels or high-end restaurants.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
• Knowledge of HACCP procedures and practices.
• Commitment to OH&S compliance and safe work practices.
