About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Neurodevelopmental/Neonatal team as a Senior Physiotherapist, where you will:

• Provide clinical leadership in delivering specialised, evidence-based physiotherapy services to neonates, infants, and children with complex neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions
• Work across a range of paediatric medical and surgical specialty areas, including Neonatology, General Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Rehabilitation
• Contribute to innovation and quality improvement by identifying, implementing, and evaluating service enhancements
• Undertake and support relevant research projects to advance paediatric physiotherapy practice within the Neurodevelopmental Physiotherapy Unit

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Degree or other qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated ability to provide specialised clinical skills in the evidence-based physiotherapy management of complex paediatric neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively to a range of staff and consumers on sensitive and complex issues.
• Capability to work autonomously to balance competing demands and priorities, demonstrating resilience, composure, and resolve.
• Ability to critically appraise service delivery and positively promote change in response to demand and/or client needs.
• Minimum 5 years of paediatric neonatal, neurodevelopmental, and neurological physiotherapy clinical experience in an acute health setting.
