ABOUT THE ROLE

As our next Diesel Fitter, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions and results.

Our QCoal Northern Hub Coal Project is located 10 km south of Collinsville in the Bowen Basin.

  • Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment following Thiess systems documentation.
  • Complete general maintenance, breakdown repairs, services, and component change outs to a high standard.
  • Source technical information from manuals, bulletins, OEM, and computer systems.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Conduct inspections to maximize equipment utilization.
ABOUT YOU
  • Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or relevant equivalent.
  • Post-trade experience in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
  • Experience in maintenance, breakdown repairs, component change outs, and servicing of heavy earth-moving equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience with CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment.
