The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a diligent Lawyer with 1-2 years PQE to join our Personal Injury team. The role is based in our head office in Campbelltown. We are looking for an applicant who has a keen interest in this area of law with opportunities for progression, within our growing practice.

Skills and experience we would love

We expect that the successful applicant would:

• have experience in Personal Injury law;
• be a robust and resilient problem solver who is prepared to develop into a strong advocate for our clients;
• possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships;
• have a strong work ethic, ability to provide high quality client service, excellent attention to detail and effective time management skills;
• be a committed team player who is also capable of working autonomously; and
• have solid academic results.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Assisting experienced lawyers in conducting Personal Injury cases, including medical negligence, workers compensation, motor vehicle claims and public liability;
• Review and analysis of documentation and evidence;
• Drafting legal correspondence, court documents, briefs and other documents as required;
• Interaction with clients as required for the preparation of compensation claims;
• Legal research;
• Working closely with the Personal Injury team to prepare and advance claims for clients
