Popcultcha are an Australian-owned and operated, family business that has been retailing collectables for 30+ years and counting. With origins dating back to the trading card boom in the 1990's, the Popcultcha catalogue has expanded over the decades to include curated collections of Action Figures, Statues, Vinyl Records, Comic Books, Designer Toys, Art Prints, Vinyl Figures, Life-Size Replicas, Board Games and much more All of this is housed in our Geelong, Victoria facility where we ship orders to all corners of the globe. While our online presence has been active since 2009, our brick-and-mortar Geelong stores have always been a pillar of the local community. We currently operate 3 unique retail locations in Geelong, our Flagship store in Ryrie St, our Collector Gallery at Federal Mills, and our most recent addition, Popcultcha Records.

Role and responsibilities

We are currently recruiting motivated individuals to join our Warehouse and Logistics team, to assist with picking, packing and dispatching orders who are energetic and customer focused and who take pride in their day-to-day work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work well within a team and have a high level of verbal communication with your work colleagues. You must be able to take direction from Management and Team Leaders, and always promote the business goals and outcomes we seek to achieve. These roles require you to be on your feet for an entire work day while moving around our logistics facility, so you will need to be mindful of these requirements. While the role is Geelong based, you will have opportunities to hit the road and represent our brand at our Supanova Expo and Oz Comic Con industry events, and to assist customers at our local retail locations We can be flexible around your university study to make it work for you

Hours

Our warehouse operational hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Qualifications and requirements
  • Ability to work on your feet for an entire shift in a warehouse environment
  • Experience with picking, packing and dispatching orders (preferred)
  • Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to take direction from Management and Team Leaders
  • Flexibility to support brand events and customer service at retail locations
