About The Facility

Major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities across the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About Barwon Local Health Service Network (LHSN)

The Barwon LHSN is a collaboration between four public health services (Barwon Health, Colac Area Health, Hesse Rural Health and Great Ocean Road Health), focused on supporting member agencies to deliver safe, quality, and sustainable services. Initiatives include State priorities and locally based work, overseen by representative committees or working groups reporting to the Barwon LHSN Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

About The Role

The project officer will work with the Program Manager, Barwon LHSN, to support the delivery of project outcomes determined through the Barwon LHSN Annual Workplan. Areas of focus include Access, Equity and Flow, Workforce, Safety and Quality and Shared Services. The role will work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders across Barwon Health, Colac Area Health, Hesse Rural Health and Great Ocean Road Health to deliver outcomes that include feasibility studies, scoping studies and mapping exercises.
