Home Instead is a leading provider of high-quality, relationship-based in-home care for ageing adults. We help with a range of personal and lifestyle needs while providing welcome companionship for ageing adults.

About the role:

We are currently hiring passionate and caring CAREGivers to join our Home Instead family As a CAREGiver, you will be part of a growing team that assists our clients with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings.

This role will allow CAREGivers to work flexible hours that enable you to work during the day, evening, or weekends while making a difference through providing compassionate home care and supporting individuals to live independently at home. We are currently seeking CAREGivers ideally available from 6am onwards Monday – Sunday with at least 3 days full availability.

At our Ferntree Gully office, we service areas from Glen Waverley to Beenak including Melbourne Outer Eastern suburbs. Enthusiastic and compassionate CAREGivers are the key to our success, with no prior experience or qualifications necessary.

About you:

  • Have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
  • Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.
  • Must be located and willing to travel up to 30 minutes within Melbourne Outer Eastern Suburbs.
  • Must have a laptop/tablet and mobile smartphone to be able to navigate through various applications.
  • Certificate in aged care or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver license, access to a reliable car, and have comprehensive car insurance.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is highly desirable and we would encourage you to apply
