The role :

Guild Insurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Claims Service Specialist with a strong background in commercial property claims or lodgement to join our Melbourne team on a 6-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a values-driven organisation that puts customers first. You'll be the initial contact for new claims and play a key role in setting the strategy and ensuring a smooth claims journey.

Key responsibilities :

  • Receive and triage new commercial property claims, ensuring accurate data capture
  • Set customer expectations and appoint service providers in line with guidelines
  • Manage a portfolio of low complexity claims with a focus on financial and customer outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to continuous improvement

Essential experience :

  • Commercial property claims or lodgement experience is a must
  • Experience using ClaimsCenter (highly desirable)
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and attention to detail, with high computer literacy and organisational capability
  • Empathetic and culturally aware, with the ability to support diverse customer needs and work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
