Massage Therapist

About the role

Our Noosaville team at LifeCare is growing, and we are looking for a Massage Therapist to join us on a casual or contracting basis.

You will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients, enhancing their mobility and wellbeing. Working with clients with various physical conditions, you will tailor your care to improve their quality of life. This role involves collaboration with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

In this role you will be...

  • Assess symptoms and medical history, diagnose, and develop care plans for clients
  • Manipulate muscles and soft tissues
  • Educate and train clients on therapy aspects
  • Assist clients with goal setting, stretching, strengthening, and posture improvement
  • Refer clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology when needed
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to formulate and monitor care plans
  • Document and report on clients' conditions and progress

  • Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy
  • Registration with Medibank Private and other private health funds
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check
