About the RoleOur Massage Therapists are a vital part of our wellness team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and a strong team player. You will work in a beautiful massage environment and educate clients on how to care for their bodies outside of the treatment room. We're looking to fill both various days and hours via a contractor arrangement. You can contract and use our facilities for your own clients (e.g., Reiki) depending on the massage, and you can earn $60-$110 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional massage treatments, listening to clients' requirements, aiding their wellness and recovery.
- Ensure treatment rooms are cleaned and prepared for the next client.
- Maintain dress standards.
- Follow directions, prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Perform other related duties.
- Certified Massage Therapist and/or Remedial qualification (highly desirable). Must hold current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, empathise, and influence. Experience or willingness to build networks and referrals. Ability to rebook and maintain a client base.
- Lymphatic Drainage, Dry Needling, and Pregnancy Massage training are highly regarded but not required. Experience with the Zenoti booking system is a plus.
- Reliable, proactive, and well-presented. A team player who is motivated, adaptable, and able to multitask while upholding business policies and procedures.
- A role model for healthy values and behaviours, passionate about working alongside a thriving Fitness Cartel gym and contributing to Merse's growth.
- Availability for at least one late night and one weekend day is highly valued.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) and full Australian working rights.

We're open Monday to Friday from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
