The Business Services team, an integral part of our client's operations, consists of specialised professionals offering tailored services to each business. Acting as an outsourced role within the client's management team, our client facilitates the development of stronger relationships with key stakeholders, including banks and financiers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an ideal position for a young professional who is working in a 1 of 2nd tier accounting firm wishing to progress their career as an Intermediate Accountant. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide business, accountancy, auditing, financial or lending advice
• Preparation of Tax Returns, Financial Statements, CGT, BAS, IAS, FBT returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs
• Provide Financial Planning advice which may also include establishing & maintaining Self-Managed Superannuation Funds
• Liaising with ATO on Clients behalf

EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Hold a degree in accounting (BCom or BBus) from a recognised institution
• Demonstrate 2 years hands-on experience in business services within an accounting firm
• Have initiated enrolment in the CA program, with an anticipated completion within a reasonable timeframe
• Exhibit the capability to work autonomously or seamlessly collaborate as a valuable member of a larger engagement team
