Traffic Control Project Operations Manager for Victorian Major Infrastructure Projects

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traffic Control Project Operations Manager to oversee traffic management operations on major infrastructure projects in Victoria. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our traffic control services, while managing project resources, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage traffic control operations on major infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement traffic management plans in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Oversee the coordination and deployment of traffic control teams and equipment.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and compliance with traffic management plans.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manage project budgets, including cost control and resource allocation.
• Train, mentor, and supervise traffic control personnel to maintain high standards of safety and performance.
• Ensure the continuous improvement of traffic management processes and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic control and management, with a focus on major infrastructure projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, traffic management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of traffic management regulations and standards in Victoria.
• Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in the use of traffic management software and tools.
• Current Victorian driver's license and relevant traffic management certifications.
