Responsibilities / Role Expectations

• Work with children aged 0-5 years to meet individual programming needs as part of a dynamic team.
• Engage in high-quality pedagogical programming integrating the Early Years Learning Framework, the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and the National Quality Standards.
• Participate in decision-making and problem solving; use a variety of interpersonal skills within multiple teams.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence, leadership and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching or Education (Early Childhood) as approved by ACECQA or working towards.
• Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma Certificate, Anaphylaxis Certificate and Working with Children Check, as approved by ACECQA.
• Must be an Accredited Teacher and actively working towards the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers for Provisional Teachers. Conditional Teachers are welcomed and supported.
• Must meet the minimum prescribed requirements of a responsible person as per the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in decision-making and problem solving; strong interpersonal skills in multiple teams.

Salary & Employment Conditions

• Maternity leave (up to 12 months), full-time, 35 hours per week
• Grade 4, salary range between $75,390 p.a. and $83,213 p.a., plus superannuation
• Uniform provided
