Overview

Diversional Therapist Level 1/2 role at NSW Health

Two temporary part-time opportunities are available: 16 hours per week at Coledale Hospital and 16 hours per week at Bulli Hospital until 29 November 2025, with the possibility of extension at the same or reduced hours. Applications close Sunday 21 September 2025.

Responsibilities

In your role as Diversional Therapist you will plan and provide day centre activities which involve assessing the leisure needs and interests of individuals with the aim of providing opportunities for reablement, wellness, socialisation, enjoyment and increased self-esteem for the elderly and for those with memory loss or dementia.

Location: Bulli District Hospital (BDH) and Coledale District Hospital (CDH)

Position classification: Diversional Therapist Level 1/2

Salary: $37.03 - $52.83 per hour + 11.5% super and salary packaging

Employment type: Part Time Temporary

Requirements
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Degree/Diploma of Diversional Therapy or Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current unrestricted NSW Class C drivers licence
