About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Program Controller to join our Urban Programs team in a full-time permanent role. Please note the location of this role is Market Street, Melbourne.

What you'll deliver:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to establish baseline expenditure forecasts and conduct monthly reviews across the full project and budget lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with Design Team Leaders to manage and track design delivery milestones.
  • Lead monthly performance review meetings with key stakeholders, covering time, cost, gate status, risks, opportunities, and any required escalations.
  • Proactively engage with Project Managers, Responsible Officers, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, support project progress, and influence effective decision-making.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and strengthen project governance.

To succeed in this role you'll have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Accounting, Finance or Project Management
  • Proven ability to apply project management and control principles on major projects
  • Experience working in a project team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues at different levels across the business
  • Experience in project planning tools (eg, MS Project) and SAP

Your career with us:

We have a diversity of teams across our business, all contributing to great customer and community outcomes. Our people are our most important asset, and we continually invest in nurturing their capability. We proudly strive to provide a safe, inclusive and sustainable environment where all our people feel respected, valued and supported to bring their whole selves to work and be the best they can be.
