ABOUT THE SERVICE:

  • Casual position, with flexible hours
  • Bus, tram and train all nearby the service for easy commute
  • 87 place service catering for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 3 outdoor play areas

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Driven to provide outstanding nutrition and education to young children
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, early childhood regulations, policies, procedures, and work guidelines
  • Have experience in a Childcare or Aged Care setting
  • Have experience in cooking for a large amount of people at one time
  • Prepare weekly stock take and ordering
  • Maintain and ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene such as cleaning and washing.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate isessentialfor this role
  • A Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • A certificate in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality is desirable
