Milestone IT is proud to partner with a leading healthcare provider in their search for an EMR Trainer. This organization is dedicated to enhancing patient care through the successful implementation of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system across different sites.

Position Overview:

The EMR Trainer will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the EMR project, ensuring that staff are well-equipped to utilize the new system effectively. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of healthcare processes, and a passion for training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver engaging training programs for hospital staff on the EMR system.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess training needs and customize training materials.
  3. Facilitate both group and one-on-one training sessions to ensure comprehensive understanding.
  4. Collect and analyze feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness.
  5. Maintain up-to-date training documentation and resources.
  6. Support the implementation team by providing insights and recommendations based on training experiences.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with exposure to EMR systems.
  2. Knowledge and experience in health-related metrics & reporting and clinical documentation / orders processes.
  3. Proven training and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  4. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Relevant qualifications in health information management, nursing, or related fields are desirable.
