Milestone IT is partnering with a leading healthcare organization undergoing a significant EMR implementation. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced EMR Integration Analyst to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in connecting their EMR system with other vital clinical and administrative applications.

About the Role:

As an EMR Integration Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the successful delivery of seamless integration between the EMR and various other applications within the program's scope. You will be involved in the full integration lifecycle, from initial planning and discovery to post-live support. This role requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, as you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of the integration lifecycle, including planning, discovery and design, analysis, build/configuration, testing, deployment, and post-live support of interfaces.
  • Work as part of a team alongside other integration analysts, each assigned to a specific workload of application interfaces.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement HL7 interfaces and related APIs.
  • Utilize integration within software applications and integration middleware to create effective integration solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Rhapsody integration engine is essential.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with application vendors, clinical staff, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure successful integration.
  • Document integration specifications, configurations, and processes.
  • Provide post-implementation support and maintenance for integrated systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an EMR Integration Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HL7 standards and message structures.
  • Hands-on experience with Rhapsody integration engine is a MUST.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with various integration methodologies and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
