Location: Darwin area, NT – All centres are located within the Darwin area in the NT

Salary Range: Senior Educators - ranging from $37.47 p/hr to $38.02 p/hr + Superannuation (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

Your Impact

As a Senior Educator, you will collaborate with your team to observe, inform, and enhance our educational programs, ensuring safety and inclusivity for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and staff.
  • Lead a classroom effectively, engaging with educators, families, and children to implement educational programs.
  • Utilize the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education in collaboration with the Education Leader.
  • Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart policies.
  • Contribute positively to centre and business plans.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and NQS
  • Passion and enthusiasm for effective classroom leadership
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and families
  • Supportive of reflective practice and continuous improvement
  • Maintain safety for all
