The Firm

Nyman Gibson Miralis (NGM) is a leading and expanding Australian law firm based in Sydney that specialises in international and domestic criminal law including cross-border investigations and white-collar crime. We are recognized for providing the highest level of legal representation to those involved in the criminal justice process.

The Role

We are eager to hire a recently admitted lawyer to join our team and assist with complex tax and corporate crime regulatory investigations including international criminal law matters as well as white-collar crime, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering and cyber-crime. This is a unique opportunity for a talented graduate with a passion for justice, global affairs and high-profile investigations. Initially, the position is for a period of 12 months with the possibility to extend.

The Candidate

The successful applicant will have a keen interest in serious financial crime with large and complex investigations/litigation matters.

  • A genuine interest in criminal law, corporate regulation, or white-collar crime
  • A recently admitted lawyer with strong academic results
  • Analytical and inquisitive mind set, strong work ethic, committed and reliable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to analyse and work with large volumes of digital information
  • Proactive, detail-orientated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidate must have full working rights to be considered
