What is our opportunity?

As an In-Work Support Mentor, you will play a critical role in providing ongoing support to participants who have secured employment. Your responsibilities include mentoring and coaching individuals, helping them navigate challenges in their new roles, and ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed. You will conduct regular check-ins with participants, provide guidance on workplace issues, and connect them with additional support services as needed to promote sustainable employment. Additionally, you will collaborate with employers to foster positive working relationships.

Experience within Employment Services or related industries is highly advantageous but not essential. A qualification such as a Cert IV in Employment Services is also highly regarded but not mandatory.

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory prior to employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID to access government data relevant to the role.

Who are you?

You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in employment services or related fields. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and employers. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills are essential, as is the ability to provide tailored support to meet individual needs.
