Parts Interpreter

As a Parts Interpreter at Hutcheon and Pearce, you will hold a central position within our Penrith Branch, serving as a vital link between our customers and company service technicians for all their parts needs.

Your role will require you to complete a diverse range of tasks, including receiving and delivery of parts, attachments and merchandise into the warehouse along with sales and customer service.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Verifies receiving in of shipments and assists delivery to inventory locations.
• Assists in keeping warehouse clean and orderly and detect current and potential problems.
• Identifies back orders and shortages, advancing issues by reporting to the manager.
• Collect parts freight and delivery each day.
• Supply service technicians with parts provided.
• Facilitate inter branch transfers of stock.
• Facilitate monthly parts returns.
• Assist in interpreting and providing parts to customers over the counter and on the phone.
• Participate in parts sales training required for the development of skills and knowledge.

The Ideal Candidate should have:

• A high level of initiative, organisation and time management skills
• Proficient data entry and computer skills
• Basic knowledge of parts and machinery
