About the role
As a Senior Accountant with Pitcher Partners, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to a diverse client base.
Further, this role will see you:
Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements across various entity types.
Identify and manage tax issues such as Division 7A loans, CGT events, SBE depreciation, and fringe benefits tax.
Provide financial insights, contribute to tax planning, and assist with forecasting
Support the management of a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely completion of engagements
Utilise Xero and other accounting software to streamline workflows and enhance reporting
Maintain a keen eye for detail, self-identify errors, and recommend process improvements
Actively participate in professional development and technical training
Who we're looking for
This opportunity would suit a motivated Accountant with demonstrated experience.
Bachelor of Business/Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent (essential)
CA or CPA qualified or on the way to becoming qualified (desirable)
Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals and/or business entities
Experience with Xero and other accounting software solutions
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
A proactive, client-focused approach to accounting and advisory services
