The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Service Technician to join the Miele team around Perth in a permanent, full time capacity Equipped with tools of trade provided by us, this crucial Domestic role involves getting out on the road in the red Miele van to visit our customers for service calls. Our Technicians bring a wealth of technical skills to the table, and thrive on providing the best possible service to our customers. As a Service Technician, you will be the face of the brand for many of our loyal customers - and you'll be ready to work on a range of quality Miele appliances from new through to 10, 20, 30+ years old

Job responsibilities will include :

Carrying out quality field service repairs at the customer's premises, and occasionally in our workshopEnsuring a positive customer experience at all timesAccurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork and service invoicesManagement of van stockHandling and resolving customer complaints in the field within company guidelinesProviding exceptional customer service

Requirements of the role include :

Great attitude with a friendly, professional and positive demeanourRelevant experience and minimum of a WA disconnect / reconnect licence (full electrical licence would be a distinct advantage)Current and valid full Australian driver's licenceSound technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical fault finding through effective problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suiteAbility to squat, kneel and twist frequentlyAbility to push and pull varying weights
