Right at Home provides high-quality in-home care and assistance to our valued clients in the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Gympie & Moreton Bay regions. We support people living with Alzheimer's, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs, and older Australians. Our services help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

About the Role

We currently have casual positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Professionals to join our team. You will need to be friendly, positive, and demonstrate client-focused behavior, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
  • Assisting clients with daily errands, domestic duties, companionship, and support
  • Providing support with academic, social, or recreational activities
  • Observing, caring for, and reporting any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
  • Responding to emergency situations
  • High Care Need Experience including experience with autism
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges

Requirements:

  • Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)
  • Current Working with Children/Blue Card (or ability to obtain)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $38.53 – $84.76 per hour

Expected Hours: 10 – 30 per week

Schedule:

  • Afternoon shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Public holidays
  • Rotating roster
  • Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

  • Penalty rates
