About the role

As a Retail Reception Officer with the Parks and Wildlife Service, you'll be the first point of contact for visitors at Cradle Mountain. You'll play a key role in welcoming guests, supporting retail sales, and promoting the natural and cultural values of Tasmania's national parks.

Core duties
  • Provide excellent customer service and visitor advice.
  • Conduct sales, cash handling, and shop operations.
  • Support inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Promote Leave No Trace principles and safe park use.
  • Assist with emergencies, including First Aid and incident reporting.

Hours per fortnight

58.80 hours.

Desirable requirements
  • A current motor vehicle driver's licence.
  • A current Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
  • Availability for rostered weekends/public holidays.
