We are expanding our team and seeking dedicated Community Support Workers to support SIL.

The Role

We are looking for experienced, reliable, compassionate, and empathetic Community Support Workers to join us in a casual role. Your role will involve supporting participants to reach their goals and live fulfilling lives.

What you'll be doing:

As a Community Support Worker, you will work within the community, assisting with personal care, meal prep, domestic tasks, social support, transport, and personal development. You will build strong relationships with participants, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored support.

What you'll bring:
  • A passion for helping others and responding to their needs
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Caregiving skills with compassion, empathy, resilience
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks
What we would like you to have:
  • Authorized to work in Victoria
  • Valid Victorian Driver License
  • Understanding of NDIS, disability, and community services sector
  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability or studying towards it (highly regarded)
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid/CPR Certificate
