Our client is seeking multiple experienced Technical Business Analysts to support a large-scale transformation program focused on modernising critical customer-facing systems and replacing a complex legacy platform with a modular, service-oriented architecture.

This is an initial contract until 31 December 2025, with multiple 6-month extension options available and a maximum contract term of 5 years. The role is based in Carseldine with 50% WFH flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Work within Agile teams to support the delivery of new APIs as part of a staged transition away from a legacy system.
  • Define API-level requirements, including payload structures, field-level mappings, and technical integration rules.
  • Map legacy data structures and transform them to align with new schemas and service designs.
  • Document interface specifications, system behaviours, validation rules, and error handling scenarios.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are clearly defined and delivered.
  • Support testing, UAT, and API cutover planning activities, including legacy integration coordination.

The successful candidates will bring strong experience working on major system transformation programs, ideally involving legacy system replacement, modularisation, or digital service reform. You will have delivered API requirements, worked with legacy systems, mapped and transformed data, and produced detailed interface specifications.
