Position Details

Special Needs Education Assistant

Pre Primary Special Needs Education Assistant. Days are Tuesday and Thursday.

Selection Criteria

Demonstrate a passion for working in a play based environment for Pre Primary students. Have skills and experience in engaging with and catering for students with special needs and developing positive relationships. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills to assist in establishing and maintaining close working relationships with students, staff and families. Show initiative, work independently, and contribute actively to a dynamic team environment and embrace the concept of continuous learning. Model and maintain the Catholic ethos and traditions of St Joseph's School. Maintain a high standard of confidentiality.

Qualifications Required

A Certificate III or IV Teacher Assistant Qualification (Special Needs would be advantageous).
