Role

Collaborative Solutions Coordinator. The successful candidate will support the delivery of PLACE's Collaborative Solutions activity during a phase of growth. This outward-facing role will be instrumental in engaging and convening a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to identify shared challenges and co-design strategic, place-based solutions. By enabling effective partnerships and ensuring the smooth delivery of convening processes, the role will help create the conditions for long-term, community-led change and contribute directly to PLACE's vision.

Role details

• PLACE is a national not-for-profit organisation that supports the adoption and impact of place-based approaches across Australia.
• Join at an exciting time as the PLACE team builds its foundational team during its establishment phase, preparing for growth as a new organisation.
• $90,000 - $110,000 (FTE) per annum excluding superannuation.
• Full time (1.0) fixed-term position.
• Location: Brisbane (Meanjin) with hybrid conditions.
• The successful candidate will undertake domestic travel regularly as part of this role.

Who you are (selection criteria)

• You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in community services, policy, health, engagement, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• You have exceptional relationship development and management skills and are comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from community members to organisations and government officials.
• You are highly organised and a strong administrator, with sound project management skills.
• You are comfortable in a start-up environment and can manage multiple competing priorities with a proactive and adaptable approach.
• You demonstrate a commitment to PLACE's vision, values and principles, particularly around community leadership and shared decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with PLACE's diverse network of stakeholders, including community members, community organisations, place-based initiatives, and government officials.
• Provide end-to-end support for meetings, workshops, and other convening activities with internal and external stakeholders, including scheduling and secretariat support.
• Contribute to and coordinate the development and timely distribution of written materials including meeting papers, progress and implementation reports, and other correspondence.
• Provide support to monitor collaborative activities to ensure they are delivered on time and within scope.
