We are seeking an experienced Senior Dental Technician to join us at the Woolloongabba Oral Health Centre.

Your New Role

As an advanced practitioner, you will apply your high-level technical expertise in dental technology to deliver quality, patient-focused oral health services. In this role, you will:

  • Design, construct, and maintain fixed and removable full and partial dentures, orthodontic, implant retained, and maxillo-facial appliances of varying complexity.
  • Work independently to provide specialised technical services requiring advanced judgement and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with clinical practitioners in treatment planning to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to less experienced technicians, students, and other staff members.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Dental Technician who demonstrates leadership, innovation, and a commitment to quality care. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A Diploma (or equivalent) qualification in Dental Technology, with post-registration experience in a full-service dental laboratory.
  • Advanced technical knowledge and expertise in dental appliance design, construction, and problem-solving across a range of complex cases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary oral health team and with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to service improvement, mentoring, and contributing to workforce planning and professional development.
  • Whilst not essential, experience in Orthodontics and/or CAD CAM / 3D Printing is highly desirable.
