Contractor Psychologist

Brisbane Harmony Centre is an established psychology clinic located in Woolloongabba. An opportunity exists for an experienced, like-minded, client-centred, AHPRA-registered professional to join our team as a Contractor Psychologist.
Within our collaborative and supportive working environment, you will have the opportunity to run your own practice while benefiting from collegial support, established systems, and a secure, comfortable, and stylish physical consulting space.
As a Contractor Psychologist, you are an autonomous, independent practitioner receiving payment directly from clients for treatment services. We offer competitive pricing structures for this contract arrangement, which (depending on your preference) can be established as a percentage of your practice billings or a set daily/weekly rate.
The individual who will thrive and best suit our culture and business model is one who:
- Is registered as a psychologist with no restrictions or limitations on their practice;
- Holds at least 5 years post-registration experience as a psychologist;
- Has their own Australian Business Number (ABN) and Business Transaction Banking Account (or is able to establish these);
- Is experienced in working in a private practice environment;
- Is organised and self-directed;
- Can manage the business administration aspects of their practice competently;
- Displays a respectful and affirming approach to clients and therapy, with particular regard to neurotype, culture, personal identity;
- Manages therapeutic and collegial boundaries effectively, clearly, and respectfully;
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to positive and healthy self-care as a therapist.
