About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Project Manager to lead and drive a critical S/4HANA migration project for our organization. Based in Melbourne, this 12-month contract role offers an exciting opportunity to guide a high-impact transformation, ensuring a seamless transition to SAP S/4HANA. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to deliver the project on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the SAP S/4HANA migration project.

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution.

Facilitate stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project progress and milestones.

Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and organizational governance standards.

Drive change management and training initiatives to support user adoption of S/4HANA.

Oversee testing, data migration, and system integration to ensure a smooth go-live.

About You

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering SAP projects, with a focus on S/4HANA migrations.

Strong understanding of SAP methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate) and project management frameworks (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile).

Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex, large-scale IT projects on time and within budget.

In-depth knowledge of SAP modules, business processes, and S/4HANA architecture.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.

Experience in change management and driving user adoption in SAP transformations.

Melbourne-based or willing to work on-site in Melbourne for the duration of the contract.

SAP S/4HANA certification or equivalent training.

Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premise SAP deployments.

Familiarity with industries such as manufacturing, retail, or finance.

Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW).
