Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS) is a Joint Venture between Ventia and Downer that has been awarded an exciting 10-year contract to deliver water and wastewater repairs and maintenance services, and renewals project works for the City of Gold Coast.

About the role
Our Pipelayers work in our Renewals crews on a range of projects which includes water & sewer main replacements, hydrant and valve replacements, manhole refurbishments, and other civil works.

This is an opportunity to get involved in a growth industry, on a long-term program of work, with lots of opportunity for career development.

About you

  • Labouring and Pipelaying experience in a similar industry – Civil Construction, Water, Drainage/Plumbing
  • Experience with the technical aspects of pipelaying
  • White card
  • Confined Space Entry & Work at Heights tickets
  • Driver's License – truck license would also be desirable
  • Comfortable using a mobile device for work order completion (photo, basic data entry, emails)
