Operations Manager Position – Cleveland Bowls Club

The Cleveland Bowls Club has successfully met the needs of the Redlands Community since 1942. Today we have 300 bowls club members and over 2,100 social members actively supporting the club bowls and social events, live entertainment and functions.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and continue the growth we have experienced to date.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Club Board, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
  • Financial management and reporting for the Bar and Gaming operations
  • Managing and developing a team of paid staff and volunteers in the bar and gaming operations of the club
  • Management of functions, events and entertainment
  • Coordinating with the independent bistro operator on day-to-day operations, functions events and entertainment
  • Ensuring a safe, Zero Tolerance environment for staff, patrons, and members
  • Compliance with and reporting required by the Liquor and Gaming Commission and all Federal, State and Local government legislation
Qualifications
  • Liquor Approved Manager License - Queensland
  • Current RMLV, RSA, RSG First Aid and CPR qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in club or hotel management
  • Excellent customer service and staff management skills
  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in computer, security, audio, and video systems
Salary and How to Apply

We are offering a salary from $85,000 + Super + Annual Bonus on achievement of agreed KPIs.
