Zervos Lawyers is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Commercial Lawyer to join our growing team in South Yarra.

This is a broad generalist role offering exposure to:

  • Business and share sales
  • Leasing and franchising
  • Liquor and gaming law
  • Corporate structuring
  • Commercial contracts and advisory

You'll:

  • Manage files with autonomy
  • Engage directly with clients
  • Work closely with the senior team with decades of experience

While the role is ideal for someone with 2+ years' PAE, we welcome applications from both junior lawyers looking to grow and senior practitioners seeking a dynamic and broad commercial practice.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years' PAE in commercial law (junior lawyers with strong interest also considered)
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Practical, solutions-focused mindset with commercial instincts
  • Confidence managing files independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadline

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Act for vendors and purchasers in high-value commercial transactions
  • Advise on structuring, partnerships and compliance
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and leases
  • Work with clients across hospitality, construction, property and more
  • Collaborate with legal and support teams
  • Build trusted, long-term client relationships
