About the opportunity

Key leadership position working across Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg and Werribee Mercy Hospital

Expert clinical advisor for educational strategies related to Resuscitation

Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate and lead multidisciplinary education programs that align with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines

Coordinate quality improvement activities

To thrive in this role, you will have :

Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

Registered Nurse Division One with the AHPRA

Post-Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years clinical experience in a critical care area

ARC Course Instructor (Desirable)

Previous experience in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs

Post-Graduate qualification in education

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution

Current accredited Advanced Life Support Adult and Paediatric certification

The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.

The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining :

A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
