Position: Occupational Therapy Unit Head - Acute

Location: Wollongong Hospital, NSW

Type: Temporary Part Time, 19 hours/week until 22 November 2026, Grade: Occupational Therapist Level 6

Salary: $70.75 - $72.51 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging

Application Closing Date: 14 August 2025

This is a temporary parental leave relief position until 22 November 2026 with potential extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, guide, and manage the occupational therapy and diversional therapy team.
  • Ensure delivery of excellent patient/client care services to maximize health outcomes.

About Wollongong Hospital: Located on Dharawal Country, it is the major referral and teaching hospital in the Illawarra Shoalhaven with over 500 beds, offering comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and community services.

Requirements:

  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
