Good Pair Days pairs good people to good wine and turns "wine discovery" into a joy-filled adventure. After winning the hearts (and tastebuds) of 80k+ members online, we're opening our first concept store & wine bar in Surry Hills. It's a playground where weekly tastings, masterclasses and share-worthy moments collide to spark the Good Pair Day feeling every visit.

About the role

You'll shape and host the weekly buzz inside the store — then capture that buzz for our social channels. Your mission is to:

  • Fill the calendar with tastings, masterclasses and creative collab nights.
  • Convert foot traffic and event guests into signed-up Good Pair Days members.
  • Turn every clink, swirl and blind-tasting "wow" into engaging content.

You'll report to our leadership team and collaborate daily with our Venue Manager and in-house Creative team.

Key responsibilities
  • Event production – Plan and host a year-round program of meet the makers and masterclasses for out members. Lock in regular winemaker or partner take-overs (cheese pros, vinyl DJs, sustainable glassware makers, and more).
  • In-store acquisition – Create friction-free sign-up moments (QR codes, iPad kiosk, instant-win pours) and coach the floor team on our 60-second value pitch. Track and improve the foot-traffic → member funnel.
  • Social content & community – Capture behind-the-scenes stories and short-form videos every week, and dream up fun in-store social comps (blind-pour challenges, grape-pong, you name it).
  • Member comms – Own event invites, reminders and follow-ups using our company comms tools, and sharing insights with the wider team.
  • Partnerships & PR – Land collaborative events with complementary brands and feed the best stories and visuals to media outlets and influencers.
Who's a good fit?
  • Event maestro & hype host – experience running experiential or community marketing with a lead-gen edge.
  • Content natural – comfortable on-camera, can shoot and edit snappy short-form social videos, and spark user-generated content in-store.
  • Data-curious – happy slicing CSVs, reading cohort charts and iterating on what converts.
  • Organised operator – vendors, run-sheets and last-minute glassware crises don't rattle you.
  • Wine enthusiasm > certificates – curiosity and storytelling trump badges (though we'll sponsor WSET if you'd like).
