Job Summary

The Field Installer Repairer plays a vital role in delivering end-to-end installation of Telstra's telecommunications networks, ensuring seamless service delivery.

About the role

As a Field Service Technician, you will work independently to activate and assure telecommunications and technology products and services in residential and business settings. You will join a diverse team to achieve excellent customer and commercial outcomes. Multiple positions are available across the country; candidates should reside in or be willing to relocate to the specified locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality service, installation, and fault rectification.
  • Maintain and install copper and fibre networks, including fault finding and jointing.
  • Manage customer premises equipment and troubleshoot in rural or remote areas.
Qualifications

Applicants must hold relevant licenses and qualifications, including:

  • Certificate I/II in Telecommunications
  • Open cabling license
  • Traffic management qualifications
  • Industry white card

Support for training on traffic management and white card certificates is available. Vaccination against Covid-19 is required, subject to individual circumstances.
