Overview

KPMG's Technology Implementation team partners with clients across diverse industries to deliver technology-enabled business transformation. This role is a manager responsible for delivering enterprise asset management solutions and strategic program management using SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition. The national role welcomes applicants from any city in Australia that hosts a KPMG office.

Responsibilities
  • Team coordination, mentoring SAP analysts and consultants to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Project delivery of SAP EAM and SAP EPPM projects, including implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery aligned with client expectations.
  • Strategic program management using SAP Project Systems and EPPM to oversee complex programs, monitor progress, and align with strategic business objectives.
  • Solution design and configuration of SAP EAM and Project Systems to meet evolving client needs;
  • Process improvement of asset management and project execution using SAP best practices to drive efficiency and compliance;
  • Integration oversight of SAP EAM with related modules (MM, FI, CO, SAP EPPM) ensuring data consistency and process continuity;
  • Stakeholder collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions;
  • Operational support including advanced troubleshooting for SAP EAM and Project Systems to minimize business disruption;
  • Training and documentation development for system configurations and business processes;
  • Innovation and continuous improvement by staying current with SAP advancements and recommending enhancements.
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in SAP EAM, SAP EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management), and Project Systems, preferably in consulting or client-facing roles.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (version 2021 or later), including Phased Orders and Scheduling.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, APM, FSM, IAM, and SAP EPPM.
  • Proven track record in managing full lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise asset and project management principles.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills; ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and current SAP certifications.
